You have stood by us and supported us, inspired and challenged us, but always you have remained steady, stalwart, and strong. For that we will be forever grateful. As we look to the future, we invite you to be part of the cornerstone as we build our new home. We know you are as ready as we are.
– Aimée Hayes, Producing Artistic Director
Welcome to the New Southern Rep Theatre!
We're just getting started.
Southern Rep Theatre has opened its doors to the public in its new home in the former St. Rose de Lima Church building on historic Bayou Road! Part of the Rose Collaborative, the new Southern Rep Theatre is a three-stage theater complex featuring a state-of-the-art flexible Mainstage, the Lagniappe Stage and Sanctuary Bar, the Hal Brown Outdoor Community Stage for free public performances, administrative offices, and the Rose Studio arts education & rehearsal space.
Thanks to the leadership of our Board and early supporters who shared their bold dream for the new Southern Rep Theatre, we are well underway with our move-in capital campaign to outfit this beautiful building to provide the best patron experience possible.
