Parking
Off-street parking is available in a lot immediately adjacent to Southern Rep Theatre, between Southern Rep and the Community Book Center in the 2500 block of Bayou Road. Public parking is available at a low hourly rate beginning at 6 PM. We recommend using the Premium Parking app. Street parking is also available in the neighborhood; please be considerate of residents and businesses nearby.
Public Transportation
Historic Bayou Road is located at the original crossroads of New Orleans, very close to the intersection of Esplanade Avenue. & N. Broad Street. Several RTA lines pass nearby, including the 91 – Jackson-Esplanade and 94 – Broad bus lines.
Taxi & Rideshare
Use 2541 Bayou Road as your destination. Nearby landmarks include “Broad & Esplanade,” the Fairgrounds, or the Joan Mitchell Center, among many others!
Bicycles
Several bike racks are located in front of the building. Additionally, the Blue Bikes program (New Orleans Bike Share) operates a hub on Bayou Road, just a half-block up the street at the corner of N. Broad Street.
