You Can’t Take It With You, But Everybody Tries…

When Death appears to usher Everybody to the grave, Everybody isn’t exactly ready and Everybody definitely isn’t going alone. Branden Jacobs-Jenkins’ saucy adaptation of the 15th century morality play EVERYMAN follows our company of brave performers (cast each night by lottery) as they journey through life’s greatest mystery – the meaning of living.

In EVERYBODY, the USHER welcomes you to the show. Acting Company member Rodney Graham introduces Branden Jacobs-Jenkins’ mind-blowing play and welcomes you to Southern Rep’s new home.

Now in its third season, the Acting and Apprentice Company is a group of local performers who work and create with Southern Rep each season. These artists participate in acting workshops, readings, community table programs, as well as Mainstage and Community-Powered performances.EverybodyCastSquare
