Teach. Perform. Create.

Members of the Southern Rep Intern Company are hardworking, joyful, self-motivated individuals who receive an in-depth, well-rounded experience working hands-on in a professional non-profit theatre.
Intern Company members will work alongside theatre professionals and receive practical training in multiple facets of theatre production and administration. They will serve as Teaching Artists for our Summer Camps, Performers & Stage Managers for a theatre for young audiences show, and Creators & Producers of a devised, original Showcase.
Timeline and Compensation
The Southern Rep Intern Company program runs late May through early August of each year.
All Interns will receive a $1000 stipend (paid in two installments) as well as Master Classes led by theatre professionals and networking opportunities.
Additional weekly compensation is available for running After-Care for our summer camps. Interns are also eligible to receive college credit. Interns are responsible for providing their own housing.
