A Message To Our Valued Community
Southern Rep is back live on stage! Our first post-covid production, The Thanksgiving Play, was at Loyola University in mid-December. Soon, we will announce our entire 2021-22 Mainstage season of innovative, illuminating productions.
The pandemic months were a time of change for Southern Rep, as they were for everyone. We’ve moved from our former Bayou Road location, and we’re bringing on new leadership. We’ve launched a new comprehensive three-year strategic plan to make Southern Rep stronger and more sustainable, and we have embraced an anti-racist action plan that commits to equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility in all areas of our organization.
What hasn’t changed is Southern Rep’s commitment to be an artist-driven, community-centered organization that reflects the diversity, vibrancy and creative energy of the city we call home.
